SEXUALITY
A girls shirt is pulled off so the bad guys can use a special cone on her chest to check her inner stoney thing.
VIOLENCE
Several people are killed by wizards in brutal and bloody ways. Two are nearly ripped in two, left in pools of blood, another is thrown against a car with a sickening crunch. One screams under torture as if they were being flayed alive. At one point it is mentioned that blood and tissue cover the ground from recently mangled corpses. Various disturbing threats are made by the evil wizards. Also there is a lot of schoolyard violence and fist fighting. There's sure to be more blood and violence at the end.
ADULT THEMES
Things kids might emulate: Underage drinking (although it's the bullies that are shown drinking and it paints them in a negative light.) I might have considered this a positive except that cool adults make drinking seem glamorous only a few chapters before.

One good thing that kids might emulate is genealogical research. It makes hunting your family tree actually sound exciting.
